In a dispute between executives and their company the executives sought extra payment on an incentive plan based on substantially above performance in a particular year. After research, the expert defined "windfalls" and their specific relation to payouts of incentive plans where the actual performance was under the control or influenced by the executives. The windfall was based on events not generally considered under the control of non-strategic management positions.
